Google Chrome’s debut hots up browser war
Friday, September 12th, 2008Internet search giant Google launched Chrome, a new Web browser, last week. Google’s Chrome has been touted to provide a faster and more reliable experience to those using the Web for everything from e-mail and word processing, to music and video.
The new open-source browser, Google Chrome, is an alternative to programs like Internet Explorer, which enjoys an estimated 72 percent market share and is pre-loaded on many PCs, as well other browsers like Firefox, Apple’s Safari and Opera.
